Are you looking for a regular live-in care placement with a fantastic work-life balance and two clients who genuinely enjoy good company?
We are looking for a warm, cheerful, and experienced Live-In Carer to join the support team for a lovely couple in Somerset.
They are a sociable couple with a great sense of humour, a close family network, and a real appreciation for good conversation, home-cooked food, and plenty of laughter.
💕 About the Couple
The lady is positive and determined. She experiences some anxiety and lives with diabetes, requiring regular blood glucose monitoring.
Her husband has a fantastic sense of humour and has recovered from a stroke. He has some lasting effects and experiences occasional seizures. He remains independently mobile with a walking frame and may require some assistance with personal care when needed.
They both value their independence and enjoy having a carer who becomes part of their daily routine without taking over.
🌷 The Role
You’ll provide:
- Medication administration
- Blood glucose monitoring
- Personal care support when required
- Shopping alongside the lady
- Delicious home-cooked meal preparation
- Companionship and plenty of conversation
- Encouragement to maintain independence
- Support with established daily routines
- A friendly, reassuring, and positive presence
🏡 A Well-Supported Placement
The couple has a close and supportive family network, and a regular cleaner is already in place.
You’ll be joining an established, friendly home environment where the emphasis is on companionship, independence and enjoying everyday life together.

- Looking for a regular 1 week on / 1 week off rotation
