Live In Respite Care
Do you need a break? Take one with the reassurance and peace of mind, knowing your loved one is cared for and enjoying life.
What Is Respite Care?
Respite care is short-term care used as an alternative to a person’s usual arrangements or when the unexpected happens.
There are several reasons you might be considering needing some respite care.
- Going away and worried about your loved one in your absence? We’re here to step in and help.
- Are you primarily responsible for caring for your loved one and need a break? Take one with reassurance and peace of mind, knowing your loved one is cared for and enjoying life too.
- Need short term care when things change unexpectedly or you’re recovering from an operation or injury, we’re here for as long as you need us until you regain your independence.
Sometimes if a family member is providing the care and support needed, they may need a break to recharge their batteries. Caring for a loved one is a huge responsibility and the dedication of being a primary carer can take its toll at times and tiredness can creep in. They may find themselves unwell or have to undergo a planned operation. This can all be a little overwhelming at times and there is an uncertainty of what the best thing to do is.
Live in Care are here to help and be the safety net you can call upon.
You can step back and trust our short-term live-in care service.
Respite care can be planned in advance when you need temporary relief, or we are here to help in an emergency.
The respite care we provide is cost-effective, enables independence, and is organised on the person’s terms with the one-on-one support they need to remain independent at home.
Live in Care will be there for any future respite care needs
After providing respite care once, Live in Care will be there for any future needs, with a full care plan already in place that only has to be reviewed to include any changes. Many family carers see this positively and have commented that knowing we are always there in the background, ready to step in, alleviates so much worry and eases the responsibility.
Dad was quite tearful today when Corina left, she has been a wonderful carer and such lovely company for him. Dad said she felt more like family rather than a stranger within a few hours of meeting her. A real sweetheart
Thank you, Live in Care, for enabling Mum to spend her last day at home, where she wanted to be. This has been a great comfort to us all and we couldn’t have asked for better care in the last few weeks.
Live in Care – thank you, thank you, thank you! You’ve changed my parents lives; Mum is less stressed knowing Dad is cared for and they can carry on living at home together.
