Families often contact us when short visits no longer feel enough, when a loved one is becoming less confident, or when support is needed with personal care, dementia, companionship, respite care or returning home after hospital.

Why Families in Cornwall Choose Live In Care

Families in Cornwall often choose live in care because distance, weather, rural access and limited short-call availability can make visiting care harder to coordinate. One-to-one live in support gives continuity and reassurance while keeping the person close to home, pets, neighbours and familiar views.

For families arranging care across Cornwall, the priority is often reassurance: knowing that support is personal, responsive and built around the person rather than a call rota.

Local groups and support in Cornwall

Cornwall families often need county-wide advice and practical support because services may be spread across coastal and rural communities. Link to support that can help older people, carers and families understand care options locally.

Live In Care has been brilliant. My mother had a fall and could no longer manage on her own. From the first assessment appointment, all the members of staff have been both super friendly and professional, they are always responsive, and their work is focused clearly on ensuring that Mum is happy. The carers have been extremely conscientious, and Mum now has a longer-term carer whom she feels thoroughly spoilt by. I still can’t quite believe that Mum is being taken care of so well. It has been a huge relief, and I am so glad and grateful that I found Live In Care.

Dad was quite tearful today when Corina left, she has been a wonderful carer and such lovely company for him.  Dad said she felt more like family rather than a stranger within a few hours of meeting her.  A real sweetheart

We tried other companies first but there were so many changes, and it all became too much for Mum, not knowing who would be there to help her. Since we chose Live in Care, she’s been so much happier.

I am delighted to have found Live in Care, as the service they provide for my father is outstanding. This is evident from all the contact I have had with their manager, office team, and the diligent care and attention provided by their first-class carers. Their online reporting system is second to none, enabling me to know in real time that everything is in order for my father. I thoroughly recommend this company for their entirely efficient, professional, and empathetic service, which has removed all my concerns over my father’s well-being.
