We are looking for a kind, calm, and compassionate Live-In Carer to support a lovely couple together in their own home in Somerset.
The gentleman is receiving palliative care, while his wife is visually impaired but remains independently mobile. This is a particularly meaningful placement for an experienced carer who understands the importance of providing sensitive, respectful support while helping a couple remain together in the comfort and familiarity of their own home.

The gentleman is receiving palliative care and requires a carer who can provide calm, compassionate support while maintaining his comfort and dignity.
His wife is visually impaired but remains independent with her mobility.
Both clients benefit from a carer who can provide companionship, reassurance, and a gentle presence within their home.
❤️ The Role
You’ll provide:
- Compassionate support for a gentleman receiving palliative care
- Assistance with personal care
- Companionship and reassurance for both clients
- General day-to-day support
- A calm and respectful presence within the home
- Support that promotes dignity, comfort, and independence
🏡 Private Accommodation & Break Cover
The carer will have their own private, self-contained annexe attached to the house, providing valuable personal space and privacy during the placement.
Break cover is also provided, giving you protected time away from your caring responsibilities.
