We are seeking a compassionate and reliable live-in carer to support a lovely lady living in a peaceful rural farm setting in Devon.
This is a calm, companionship-led placement with light support needs and significant downtime, ideal for a carer who enjoys quiet environments, nature, and one-to-one care.
👵 About the Client:
- Living with cardiac failure, causing breathlessness and fatigue
- Uses oxygen support (manages independently but may need assistance with cannulas)
- Cognitively well and enjoys conversation
- Has a great sense of humour and values honesty
- Independent with personal care
- Mobilises using two walking sticks and uses a stairlift
- Uses bilateral hearing aids
🩺 Care Responsibilities:
- Support with morning routines
- Meal preparation (light support)
- Assist with dog walks
- Provide companionship and conversation
- Assist with oxygen equipment (nasal cannulas) when needed
- Be present for reassurance and light support throughout the day
- Maintain a calm, safe, and supportive environment
