Are you a patient, attentive carer who enjoys supporting someone with everyday care as well as getting out for walks and activities?

We are looking for a kind and compassionate live-in carer to support a gentleman in Falmouth. This placement combines personal care and practical assistance with companionship and support to take part in activities outside the home.

💙 Communication That Makes a Difference

Our client is non-verbal, so excellent communication skills and a patient, observant approach are essential.

The right carer will take time to understand his individual ways of communicating, responding thoughtfully to his needs and preferences and ensuring he remains involved in his care.

🩺 The Role

You will provide support with:

Personal care, maintaining dignity and respecting individual preferences.
Medication administration.
Meal preparation and support with food and drinks.
Accompanying the client on walks and activities.
Companionship and attentive communication throughout daily routines.

🚗 Driver with Own Car Essential

You must be a driver with your own car and willing to use it to support the client’s outings and activities.

This role would suit someone who enjoys helping their client get out and about while providing reliable, person-centred support at home.

🌷 Who We’re Looking For

We would love to hear from a carer who is kind, patient and proactive, confident providing personal care and administering medication, and attentive to non-verbal communication.

You should bring a reassuring manner, good observation skills and an interest in supporting walks and activities.
