We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Live-In Carer to support a gentleman living in Devon. This is a rewarding placement for a carer who enjoys providing practical support while helping someone maintain their independence and quality of life.
The client values his independence, enjoys a relaxed lifestyle, and benefits from a carer who is proactive, organised, and confident, supporting his healthcare needs.

- Male client living with insulin-dependent Diabetes
- Mobilises independently using a walking stick
- Values his independence and routine
- Usually starts his day around 11:00 am
- Generally goes to bed independently
- Shares his home with two friendly cats
🩺 Care Responsibilities
Support is required with:
- Monitoring blood sugar levels
- Administering morning and evening insulin
- Medication administration
- Catheter care
- Weekly changing of leg bags and night bags
- Some personal care support
- Shower preparation and nearby supervision
- Preparing diabetic-friendly meals
- Light household tasks
- Caring for two household cats
