We want you to be involved in all aspects of your care from initial care planning to choosing the carer you wish to support you and we will do our utmost to meet your preferences. You will receive carer profiles to select from and we also arrange video calls.
When shorter ‘pop in’ visits no longer meet your care needs or you feel unsafe or uncertain of your ability to manage in between those visits, having a live-in carer will meet your increasing needs and alleviate any worries. Your professional live-in carer will be on hand to assist you during the day and available to call upon during nighttime hours.
Having a live-in carer is the perfect alternative to a residential home as it means you have all the support you need and want, at the times you prefer, in the comfort of your own home where all your memories are. There’s no waiting for your call bell to be answered when you need assistance, no getting up and going to bed at set times, no sitting in lounges with people with very differing care need or going to a dining room at a set time for meals with minimal choice.
