Overnight Care At Home
Because Care Doesn’t Stop When the Sun Goes Down
When More Help and Support is Needed
We often come across people who can manage during the day with support from their loved ones or minimal support from another care provider who visits to give additional assistance. Still, as the night draws in, more help and support is needed. This could be due to medical needs, anxiety experienced, falls history, continence, etc. Live in Care can provide an overnight carer to help you, whether it’s the reassurance of someone sleeping in your home and on hand to help if needed (sleeping night care) or whether you need someone to be awake and nearby to check on you and assist at any time (waking night care).
With Overnight Live In Care, you can be assured of receiving the highest quality overnight care at home, as the carers we introduce are not only experienced but also dedicated and attentive to your individual care needs.
What is a waking night?
During Waking Nights, our carers are always on call, being alert and ensuring our clients are sleeping or resting while remaining safe and secure. We will assist you with all your care needs. Our waking night sits are generally from 10 pm to 7 am, but we can accommodate changes to these times to suit you.
What is a sleeping night sit?
During a Sleeping night sit, our carers are on hand in the client’s home to be called upon as needed. You would need to provide a bed for our carer, but you have the peace of mind that there is always someone on hand if required. Our sleeping nights are generally from 10 pm to 7 am, but we can accommodate changes to these times.

It’s not just the everyday care that makes such a difference to Mum’s life, it the little things that are always thought of. Mum has been out of her home more in the last 6 months than she has in the last 6 years. Seeing the photos of her smiling face full of laughter, tells us how much she’s enjoyed the company, activities, and outings. We definitely picked the right company.
Moving to live-in care at home was such a big decision for the family and we wanted to make sure we got it right for Mum and Dad. From the first instance when we made the call to Live in Care it felt right, their understanding and empathy was evident, and they gave great advice too. We’re so pleased we made the right decision, and our parents are the happiest they’ve ever been, safe at home with wonderful care.
Mum’s carers have become part of the family, they’ve gotten to know Mum and her needs so well and are exactly what the family were hoping for and more.
Live In Care has been brilliant. My mother had a fall and could no longer manage on her own. From the first assessment appointment, all the members of staff have been both super friendly and professional, they are always responsive, and their work is focused clearly on ensuring that Mum is happy. The carers have been extremely conscientious, and Mum now has a longer-term carer whom she feels thoroughly spoilt by. I still can’t quite believe that Mum is being taken care of so well. It has been a huge relief, and I am so glad and grateful that I found Live In Care.
Thank you, Live in Care, for enabling Mum to spend her last day at home, where she wanted to be. This has been a great comfort to us all and we couldn’t have asked for better care in the last few weeks.
