We are seeking a kind and compassionate live-in carer to support a lovely lady living with dementia in her home near Tiverton, Devon.

She is warm, musical, and community-minded, and benefits greatly from routine, gentle support, and meaningful companionship.

👵 About the Client:

• Living with dementia (Alzheimer’s)

• Physically able to manage most personal tasks

• Former community volunteer and accomplished piano player

• Enjoys music, singing, and engaging conversation

• Shares her home with a friendly cat

• Responds well to calm prompts and gentle encouragement

🩺 The Role Includes:

• Providing live-in care with a person-centred, respectful approach

• Offering gentle prompts and reminders during daily routines

• Supporting with medication administration (Alzheimer’s)

• Helping with light tasks and daily structure

• Assisting with pet care (feeding, opening doors for the cat, etc.)

• Offering companionship and emotional support

✅ Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced in dementia/Alzheimer’s care

• Patient, warm, and encouraging

• Confidently supporting independence in a light-touch care setting

• Comfortable in a pet-friendly home

• Driver not required
