🔁 Rotation: 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off (with permanent carer)
🚗 Driver with own car essential

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Live-In Carer to support a lovely lady living with Parkinson’s and dementia in the peaceful rural village of Goathurst, near Taunton.

This is a well-supported placement with domiciliary carers and family providing set break cover each week. You’ll be joining a stable and consistent care rota in a welcoming home.

👵 About the Client:

Lives with Parkinson’s and dementia
Mobilises using a walking frame
Requires close supervision during transfers
May experience occasional frustration or emotional distress, but not physically aggressive
Benefits greatly from reassurance, patience, and calm, structured care

🩺 The Role Includes:

Providing full-time live-in care
Supporting mobility and safe transfers
Assisting with personal care, routines, and companionship
Working alongside domiciliary carers/family who provide regular break cover on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays
Ensuring a calm, respectful and secure home environment

🛏️ Accommodation Provided:

Spacious private bedroom with a single bed
Ample off-road parking is available

✅ Ideal Candidate:

Experience in dementia and Parkinson’s care
Must have live in care experience.
Calm, patient, and emotionally supportive
Skilled in mobility assistance and supervision
Driver with own vehicle
Looking for a long-term, stable rotation with continuity
